Home from home is a respite service, developed as a result of a huge respite need for parents of children with disabilities. It is managed by a voluntary management committee which is comprised of parents and friends. It is staffed by qualified social care staff. It is open to children anywhere in the Kerry area, aged between 5 to 18 years of age.
Hours of opening are as follows:
Monday – Friday 2.00pm – 6.00pm
During the school holiday breaks, hours of opening are Monday and Tuesday 10.00am – 4.00pm
Activity Programme
The Children all need Supervision and none of the Children can use the Facilities at the service independently.

There is no longer a TV, we feel that most of the young people get more than enough access to TV at home, and we prefer to engage them in creative games and activities.
